AHK Eastern Africa (Tanzania Branch) hosted a fact-finding mission with German partners to exchange insights on skills development, labour mobility, and workforce readiness in a digital economy. The engagement highlighted AHK’s work—especially through the African Skills for Germany (AS4G) project—in preparing skilled talent and fostering collaboration for sustainable economic growth in Tanzania.

AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa – Tanzania Branch was pleased to welcome Matthias Hertin from sequa gGmbH, Toralf Schneider from logistic-natives e. V., and Mareike Stein, during their recent fact-finding mission to Tanzania.

 

The discussions provided an excellent opportunity to exchange insights on skills development, workforce readiness, labour mobility, and the growing demand for qualified professionals in an increasingly digital economy.

At AHK Eastern Africa and through the 𝐴𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑆𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑠 4 𝐺𝑒𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑦 (𝐴𝑆4𝐺) 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡, we were pleased to share our experiences in stakeholder engagement, German language preparation, cultural orientation, integration support, and structured labour mobility pathways.

 

We look forward to continued dialogue and exploring future opportunities for collaboration that contribute to skills development, employment, and sustainable economic growth in Tanzania.
