AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa, 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡, 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝟒 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 (𝐀𝐒𝟒𝐆) 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, was pleased to attend the The Innovative Entrepreneur Exchange Program (IEEP) 2026 Demo Day and witness the innovation, ambition, and talent showcased by emerging entrepreneurs.
The event also highlighted the importance of empowering female founders in the global economy, while creating space for innovation, entrepreneurship, and international exchange. The Innovative Entrepreneur Exchange Program (IEEP) continues to connect entrepreneurial ecosystems between Dar es Salaam and Hamburg, creating opportunities for founders to learn, grow, and expand their exposure beyond local markets. The next phase of the programme will take selected startups to Hamburg later next year, further strengthening international exchange, cross-border collaboration, and access to wider networks and opportunities.
The discussion was enriched by insights from Mr. Adam Mbyalu, Chief Strategy Officer at Sahara Ventures, and Ms. Mary Njeri, Co-Lead at AiDiA Africa, and was also marked by remarks from the German Ambassador to Tanzania, Mr. Thomas Terstegen.
For AS4G, participating in spaces like this is important because they reflect the broader conversation around skills development, talent promotion, and creating pathways to international opportunities. While AS4G focuses on workforce development and structured labour mobility, it is encouraging to see complementary initiatives such as IEEP strengthening links between Tanzania and Germany and opening new avenues for talent to thrive.Congratulations once again to the winning teams. We wish them continued success as they prepare for the next stage of their journey in Hamburg.
