With up to 150 participants, the event brought together government representatives, German and Kenyan companies, employers, training institutions, recruitment agencies and development partners to explore opportunities for KenyaโGermany labour mobility and strengthen pathways between skills development and employment.

A key highlight was the dialogue on what it takes to make international labour mobility work effectively, from understanding German labour-market needs and vocational pathways to qualification recognition, ethical recruitment, language preparation, migration procedures, and successful workplace and social integration.

The contribution of the AfricanSkills4Germany (AS4G) teams from Kenya and Tanzania further enriched the exchange by bringing a regional perspective on candidate preparation, employer engagement and sustainable pathways for skilled labour mobility to Germany.
