Intersolar Africa works because many people pull in the same direction. It’s a team effort through and through, and AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa is more than happy to be part of such a great one!
For its second edition, and the first with a large exhibition at Sarit Expo Centre, AHKEasternAfrica came on board as the East African partner for this event by Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM) and Solar Promotion GmbH.
Intersolar Africa 2026 is East Africa’s leading B2B exhibition and conference focused on solar power and energy storage, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and technology providers, with 3000 visitors from 60 countries and around 100 exhibitors.
Bronwyne Andabwa supported the conference implementation. Hanna Dittmeyer, Head of the Competence Centre, moderated the Opening Remarks and the Expo Stage. Georg Pflomm stayed close to the exhibitors, ear to the ground throughout. We also hosted, together with GIZ Kenya and the German Embassy in Nairobi, with KfW and DEG Impulse also taking part, a closed‑door roundtable for German companies to discuss the lifting of the moratorium on PPAs in Kenya.
We appreciate being chosen again as partner, and we immensely enjoyed contributing our part to making Intersolar Africa 2026 work.
