As part of the recently launched Business Breakfast format, AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa Tanzania, the German Embassy Tanzania and GIZ Tanzania and EAC, together with the German business community, visited Knauf in Kisemvule.

𝐼𝑚𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑒𝑒: Knauf has 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 and now operates the largest plasterboard plant in Sub-Saharan Africa a strong signal of confidence in Tanzania as a business and manufacturing hub

Since 2015, Knauf has been investing in local production, skills development and workforce training, exactly the kind of engagement we aim to support as AHKEasternAfrica by connecting companies with opportunities and partners on the ground.

A great example of how German industry turns investment into tangible results: jobs, skills and long-term growth. 🇩🇪🤝🇹🇿

Many thanks to Christoforos Stamoulakatos and his team for the great hospitality and open exchange.
