The German Business Association (GBA) Oktoberfest2026 brought a taste of Bavaria to Nairobi, celebrating Bavarian culture, traditions and the longstanding ties between Bavaria and Kenya.
We were pleased to support this year's celebration, which featured the legendary 𝐃𝐢𝐞 𝟒 𝐇𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧, who travelled all the way from Munich to bring authentic Bavarian music and Oktoberfest spirit to Kenya.
The two-day celebration at Nairobi Street Kitchen brought together members of the German and Kenyan business communities, partners and friends for an evening of cultural exchange, networking, music and entertainment.
As the State of Bavaria's representative office in East Africa, we are proud to support initiatives that promote Bavarian culture, foster business connections and strengthen relations between Bavaria and Kenya.
A special thank you to the German Business Association (GBA) and the AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa for organising a memorable celebration and to all partners and sponsors who made the event possible.
🍺 Prost! Long live Bavarian-Kenyan Relations!
