Throughout the trip, the Vice Minister and his delegation engaged in key discussions with officials from the Ministries of Trade, Agriculture, and Water in both countries, along with leaders from academia and industry. Together, they are building connections that will drive mutual growth and foster new possibilities for both Bavaria and EastAfrica.

A particularly inspiring highlight was the visit to the H2Grow hydroponics initiative by the World Food Programme in Kibera, and SHOFCO, which provides access to clean water for 200,000 residents in Kibera, Africa’s largest urban slum.
