AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa – Tanzania Branch was pleased to welcome the Tanzania Dental Expo (TDE) team for a meeting with our Country Representative, Ms. Dorcas Parsalaw.
The visiting delegation included Dr. Ambege Jack Mwakatobe , Executive Director; Ms. Kelly Mdemu, Programme Manager and Event Marketing Lead; Ms. Azama Kassanga, Project Manager; and Ms. Rahma Ali, Event Coordinator – Operations.
The meeting reflected on the successful Tanzania Dental Expo 2026, which brought together more than 2,500 dental professionals, businesses, institutions and key stakeholders to promote innovation, professional development and improved oral healthcare services.
Discussions also focused on preparations for the Tanzania Dental Expo 2027, scheduled to take place from 3–5 June 2027 at the Mlimani City Conference Centre in Dar es Salaam.
The two teams explored opportunities for continued collaboration, stronger private-sector participation, knowledge exchange and increased engagement between Tanzanian and German companies within the dental and healthcare sectors.
