The three-day conference brought together stakeholders committed to strengthening Technical and Vocational Education and Training. Discussions explored dual TVET and work-based learning, modern training technologies, green skills, inclusion, financing, assessment, and the recognition of qualifications all essential to equipping young people for meaningful employment and entrepreneurship.

At our exhibition, Caleb Kiprotich and Bruno Backes showcased AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africaβs work in dualTVET, capacity building, and German certification programmes. Mercy Kathuku presented the Africa Skills for Germany project, which connects Kenyan talent with skills development and career opportunities in Germany.
AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa also contributed to the conference programme through Esther Ndichu, who served as a panelist during the session on ππ«ππ’π§π’π§π π¨π ππ«ππ’π§ππ«π¬ ππ§π ππ§-ππ¨π¦π©ππ§π² ππ«ππ’π§ππ« πππ―ππ₯π¨π©π¦ππ§π. She shared AHKβs experience, lessons learned, and challenges in delivering pedagogy training for in-company and school-based trainers.
Through AHKβs training programmes, 1,100 in-company and school-based trainers have been reached, strengthening their capacity to deliver practical, high-quality, and industry-relevant learning.
