Following the recent fact-finding visit of schlaich bergermann partner sbp to Tanzania, our General Manager, Christian Engels, LL.M., visited the company's headquarters in Germany to continue discussions on future cooperation.
A particular highlight was meeting the two young engineers from the University of Dar es Salaam who are currently completing their practical placement at sbp through the African Skills 4 Germany (AS4G) project. It was encouraging to see how well they have integrated into the company, demonstrating strong technical skills, professionalism, and a great willingness to learn.
For us, this is exactly what AS4G is about: creating meaningful international opportunities for young African professionals while helping German companies connect with highly motivated and skilled talent. Beyond technical exchange, these placements strengthen long-term partnerships between industry, academia, and skills development institutions in both countries.
We thank sbp for their commitment to developing the next generation of engineers and look forward to expanding this collaboration with more partners in the future
