On Wednesday, 17th June 2026, the German delegation participating in the Energy Trade Mission on ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง & ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ (๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ. ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐) arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, marking the next stage of the mission.

A key highlight of the day was the visit to one of Ethiopiaโs largest EV charging stations, operated by ethio telecom. We were warmly welcomed by Fikru Mojo, who provided valuable insights into Ethiopiaโs rapidly evolving e-mobility landscape and showcased the company's smart and fast-charging solutions supporting the country's transition to electric mobility.

The day concluded with a welcome reception hosted by H.E. Birgitt Ory, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ethiopia, at the German Embassy in Addis Ababa. The reception provided an excellent platform for German and Ethiopian stakeholders to connect and exchange perspectives in the sector. We sincerely thank Ambassador Ory and the Embassy team for their warm hospitality and continued support in fostering German-Ethiopian business cooperation.
