In February, Nairobi became a key meeting point for Africa’s solar industry as Intersolar Africa returned. AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa was proud to organize the Eastern African Pavilion.

The pavilion brought together a strong group of regional companies and provided a platform for exhibitors to connect with partners and customers across the value chain, including project developers, EPCs and installers, while also enabling them to position their brand on an international stage.
Take a look at the pictures to hear directly from some of the companies that exhibited at this year’s Eastern African Pavilion, including David Thuo from Asantys Systems East Africa Ltd. (systems integrator, EPC and distributor), Frank Neil Yiga from Innovex (IoT PAYGO enabler) and Paul Njoroge Ngugi from Soventix East Africa Limited (EPC for large-scale projects).

This reflects how Intersolar Africa brings together the solar value chain. The event has established itself as East Africa’s leading B2B solar exhibition and conference. The 2026 edition brought together around 100 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors from 60 countries, of whom 73% were at management level. It delivered strong results, with 95% of exhibitors recommending the event and over 90% reporting high satisfaction.

We boldly engaged with Africa-facing OEMs and investors, converting expo access into qualified leads and bankable partnerships. As a homegrown African technology company, this expo showed that Africa’s energy transition is moving beyond foreign solutions only, sending a clear signal that local innovation is ready to scale. IoT is the gateway, PAYGO the enabler. We build both and are ready to collaborate & partner.
