Over the past 3 days at IFAT worldwide, our deputy representative George Warutere accompanied a delegation of leading African companies in waste engaging directly with leading Bavarian companies and institutions active in waste management, recycling, and circular‑economy solutions. The delegation was organized in close and cordial cooperation with the UNIDO ITPO Germany office and the GIZ Rwanda-Burundi team.
📅 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 – Highlights were the welcome by the VDMA team and Messe Muenchen team, booth visits and a visit to a local Bavarian brewery.
📅 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 – Highlights were the Across Africa in 60 minutes hosted by the AHK Africa Office and the IFAT meets Africa reception
📅 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 – Highlight were the Bavaria–East Africa Cross‑Continent Business Forum at the Minister Welcome Lounge, visits to the booth, the IFAT@60 event and watching the Champions League game over a Bavarian Beer.
