The State of Bavaria East Africa Office showcased its commitment to innovation and sustainability at the STRI event in Nairobi, highlighting strong Bavaria–Kenya collaboration in clean energy, sustainable transport, and research partnerships. The joint Bavaria Booth, supported by key partners, demonstrated the impact of international cooperation in advancing innovation-driven solutions for sustainable development.

Last week, the State of Bavaria East Africa Office in Kenya was proud to participate in the Science, Technology, Research, and Innovation for Society (STRI) at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre through the Bavaria Booth, showcasing Bavaria’s commitment to research, innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration.

 

The booth, jointly presented with Hanns Seidel Foundation and partners Kazzi and Freevigo under the eMobility project funded by the Bavarian Chancellery, highlighted growing Bavaria–Kenya cooperation in 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬.

 

We were honored to welcome the Principal Secretary for Science, Research and Innovation, Prof. Shaukat Abdulrazak, whose visit reaffirmed the importance of international collaboration in advancing research and sustainable development.

 

We thank all partners and visitors for making the week a success and look forward to strengthening Bavaria–Kenya cooperation in science, innovation, and research.
