On the occasion of the visit of Dr. Monika Erath and Denis Börner, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, to Dar Es Salaam, a high-level meeting took place with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Tanzania and the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority.

On the occasion of the visit of Dr. Monika Erath and Denis Börner, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, to DarEsSalaam, a high-level meeting took place with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Tanzania and the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority.

    Intersolar Africa 2026

    AHK Eastern Africa proudly joined Intersolar Africa 2026 as the official East African partner for the event’s second edition and first major exhibition at the Sarit Expo Centre. Bringing together 3,000 visitors from 60 countries and around 100 exhibitors, the event showcased leading innovations in solar energy and storage. AHK supported conference sessions, exhibitor engagement, and co‑hosted a closed‑door roundtable for German companies on the lifting of Kenya’s PPA moratorium.

    AHK Eastern Africa is pleased to welcome Ms. Dagmar von Bohnstein as the new Delegate of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa and Bavarian Representative for East Africa. With strong international leadership experience from her role at AHK Slovenia, she joins at a pivotal time to strengthen partnerships, support German businesses, and deepen economic cooperation between Germany and Eastern Africa.

    Strengthening German Kenyan Economic Relations

    AHK Eastern Africa participated in the official business delegation accompanying Foreign Minister Dr. Johann Wadephul in Nairobi, engaging in high‑level meetings, company visits, and investment discussions with key partners. Highlights included exchanges with DHL Kenya, Krones Nairobi, and the Kenya Investment Authority, as well as a roundtable with German companies. The delegation then continued to Ethiopia for further economic engagements
