At the MADE IN GERMANY - AFRICA 2025 Conference held at the Sarit Expo Centre, the AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa showcased its key role in promoting trade and investment between Germany and the Eastern African region.

At the MADE IN GERMANY - AFRICA 2025 Conference held at the Sarit Expo Centre, the AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa showcased its key role in promoting trade and investment between Germany and the Eastern African region.

 

Over three impactful days, AHK Eastern Africa facilitated targeted B2B meetings, promoted African Skills 4 Germany (AS4G) - Kenya initiatives, and offered market entry support to German companies eyeing expansion into Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Rwanda.

 

Key Outcomes:
✔️𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬: Several agreements were initiated between German exhibitors and East African businesses, especially in clean energy, infrastructure, and vocational training.

✔️𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: AHK’s booth attracted companies seeking practical guidance on legal, logistical, and market access services for East Africa.

✔️𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Visitors showed strong interest in dual vocational training and skilled labor migration pathways to Germany.

✔️𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: AHK contributed to expert panels discussing innovation, SME collaboration, and the future of African-German trade.
