AHK Eastern Africa was proud to take part in the press launch ahead of the upcoming EU-Kenya Business Forum this May! Our colleague Sarah Reusche had the honour of accompanying H.E. Mr. Alexander Fierley, Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kenya, at the event.

 

Together with the European Business Chamber - Kenya and other EU Chambers, we’re working to strengthen business ties between Kenya and the EU.

The event highlighted the importance of international partnerships in advancing sustainable energy solutions and featured successful projects in biogas, geothermal, wind, solar desalination, and green hydrogen.

    The Uganda-EU Business Forum, held under the theme “Investing in Uganda’s Renewable Energy Future,” served as a key platform for promoting investment and partnerships in Uganda’s renewable energy sector. The forum highlighted opportunities in solar energy, geothermal applications, biogas, and water solutions, while showcasing innovative financing mechanisms to support sustainable development.
