Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry CEO, Ahmed Farah HSC, hosted Dr. Monika Erath, Delegate of the German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa, to discuss more on strategies to strengthen partnership to foster trade and investment relations between Kenya and Germany. The two were joined by Mathew Maiyo, CFA, FRM, FCCA and Abubakar Mahamood from KNCCI George Warutere and Davilyne Busuru from AHKEasternAfrica

 

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:

  •  Strengthening standards for Kenyan exporters to access the EU market through the Kenya-EU EPA.
  • Providing training for Kenyan businesses, including Supply Chain Due Diligence.
  • Supporting hashtag#TVET graduates through dual training, incubation centres, and innovation hubs.
  • Partnering on trade fairs and exhibitions to create new business opportunities.

    Kenya Launches National Electric Mobility Policy

    Kenya has taken an important step towards cleaner and more sustainable transport with the launch of its National Electric Mobility (e-Mobility) Policy on 3 February 2026 in Nairobi. The policy was officially launched by Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Road and Transport Mr. Davis Chirchir, EGH., in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.
