Our delegate, Dr. Monika Erath, was able to discuss this today in a high-level meeting with HON. William Kabogo and HE Sebastian Groth, German Embassy in Kenya at the Ministry of ICT. Also present were Alexander Fierley, Deputy Ambassador and Christin Schulz-Kaunga, who leads the successful ICT project of GIZ in Kenya.

AHK Eastern Africa Meets with the Ministry of Information, Communications & The Digital Economy

Kenya is a frontrunner in the region in ICT. In April 2025, the National AI Strategy 2025 - 2030 was adopted. The task now is to implement it in the economy and develop opportunities for cooperation between Germany and Kenya.

 

Our delegate, Dr. Monika Erath, was able to discuss this today in a high-level meeting with HON. William Kabogo and HE Sebastian Groth, German Embassy in Kenya, at the Ministry of ICT. Also present were Alexander Fierley, Deputy Ambassador and Christin Schulz-Kaunga, who leads the successful ICT project of GIZ in Kenya.

September 2025, we, as the official State of Bavaria East Africa Office in Kenya at the AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa are also expecting a hashtag#business hashtag#delegation from the hashtag#Bavarian hashtag#Ministry of hashtag#EconomicAffairs from the hashtag#ICT sector.
