Representing AHK were Christian Engels, LL.M., General Manager, and Pendo Ringo, Project Manager for the Skilled Workers for Germany initiative. The event brought together key national and regional stakeholders to explore how Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) can drive employment and economic growth.

On the sidelines of the conference, an initial exchange was held with senior officials from VETA Tanzania, including Dr. Abdallah Ngodu, Director of Vocational Education and Training, Angelus Ngonyani, Director of Labor, Planning and Development and Eniart Mahundi, Director of Human Resources and Administration. The meeting introduced the Skilled Workers for Germany initiative and explored areas of potential collaboration. A follow-up meeting is planned to deepen the engagement and define next steps.

We value the opportunity to work together in advancing skills development and international labour mobility for Tanzanian youth.
