Dr. Monika Erath, representative of the State of Bavaria East Africa Office in Kenya at AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa, participated in the annual conference of the Bavarian Representations abroad.

 

The highlight of the meeting was the ‘Evening of Foreign Trade - Bavaria goes global’ with H.E. Mr Hubert Aiwanger, Minister of State.

 

There was also a meeting with State Secretary Tobias Gotthardt and high-level presentations, including one with the Director of the Institute, Mr Prof. Dr. Clemens Fuest, ifo Institute – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, took place.

 

The Bavaria Office at the AHK East Africa was opened in May 2024 and aims to strengthen economic relations between East Africa and Bavaria.
