AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa was proud to be part of the first-ever Transport Logistic Africa & Air Cargo Africa trade fair in Nairobi, Kenya! The German Pavilion was a key highlight, featuring a strong lineup of German exhibitors.

AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa was proud to be part of the first-ever transport logistic Africa & aircargo Africa trade fair in Nairobi, Kenya! This milestone event brought together global leaders in multimodal transport and logistics, showcasing cutting-edge solutions in air freight, maritime shipping, rail networks, and road transportation. With us were our colleagues annlily mbugua Lara Wöhrmann, and Margaret Karuku who contributed to making this event a success through insightful engagements and valuable connections.

 

The German Pavilion was a key highlight, featuring a strong lineup of German exhibitors, including GF World of Cargo Networks (Air & Ocean Partners GmbH), BlueBox Systems GmbH, InfAI e.V. - Logistics Living Lab, Logwin Air + Ocean International GmbH, PalNet GmbH Air Cargo Products, Perishable Center GmbH & Co. Betriebs KG, Skyline Air Services GmbH, Strike Aviation Group, TCO Transcargo GmbH Trade and Fairs Consulting GmbH & Trade and Fairs East Africa Ltd, and Germany Trade & Invest. These companies showcased innovative solutions that are shaping the future of logistics and supply chain management in Africa.

 

The pavilion served as a dynamic hub for knowledge exchange, business networking, and fostering partnerships between German companies and key players in the Eastern African logistics sector.

 

This event, supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and implemented by IEC Inter Expo Consult GmbH, reinforced Germany’s commitment to advancing logistics and supply chain solutions in Africa.

 

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue supporting German companies in expanding their footprint in the region, driving innovation, and strengthening economic ties.

    From 15 December 2025 to 23 January 2026, the nationwide economic survey of the Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag (DIHK) was conducted across Germany.     Kenya Launches National Electric Mobility Policy

    Kenya has taken an important step towards cleaner and more sustainable transport with the launch of its National Electric Mobility (e-Mobility) Policy on 3 February 2026 in Nairobi. The policy was officially launched by Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Road and Transport Mr. Davis Chirchir, EGH., in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.
