The project will train personnel and institutions in Kenya. Bavarian companies with operations in Kenya can have their local personnel trained in the fields of financing Renewable Energy (RE), Energy Efficiency (EE), Green Hydrogen, and storage projects.

Green Banking Project.

Renewables Academy (RENAC) launched the Green Banking Project. With us: Our AHK colleagues George Warutere, Georg Pflomm, and Lara Wöhrmann, who represented State of Bavaria Office in Kenya.

 

The project will train personnel and institutions in Kenya. Bavarian companies with operations in Kenya can have their local personnel trained in the fields of financing Renewable Energy (RE), Energy Efficiency (EE), Green Hydrogen, and storage projects.

    Intersolar Africa 2026

    AHK Eastern Africa proudly joined Intersolar Africa 2026 as the official East African partner for the event’s second edition and first major exhibition at the Sarit Expo Centre. Bringing together 3,000 visitors from 60 countries and around 100 exhibitors, the event showcased leading innovations in solar energy and storage.     Strengthening German Kenyan Economic Relations

    AHK Eastern Africa participated in the official business delegation accompanying Foreign Minister Dr. Johann Wadephul in Nairobi, engaging in high‑level meetings, company visits, and investment discussions with key partners. Highlights included exchanges with DHL Kenya, Krones Nairobi, and the Kenya Investment Authority, as well as a roundtable with German companies. The delegation then continued to Ethiopia for further economic engagements
