In Nairobi, Kenya, the Governments of Germany and Kenya convened a 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚–𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

The German Delegation was led by Dr. Joachim Stamp, Head of Delegation for Migration Agreements from the Federal Ministry of the Interior, together with H.E. Amb. Sebastian Groth, Deputy Amb. Alexander Fierley, and Madam Roseline Kathure Njogu, Principal Secretary at the State Department for Diaspora Affairs.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 engaged in constructive discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation on labour mobility. AHK Eastern Africa - Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa is proud to have participated in this important dialogue. Our 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞, Dr. Monika Erath, together with Bruno Backes, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞, presented our expanding portfolio of activities on skilled workers, initiatives supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) under the project 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 (𝐀𝐒𝟒𝐆).

We thank our partners for the trust placed in our work and for the excellent collaboration between German and Kenyan stakeholders.
